The Demilich in the Mist consists of nine separate photographs. The two models were shot separately and combined over the background layers consisting of the two stump photos, the wall, the tower, birds and finally, the clouds. The demilich was on his own layer and an additional eleven layers of mist, smoke and other effects added.
