The scene is totally created. The walls and floor are garden walls in the neighboring city of Raleigh. The door, a small cast gaming piece. The Elf and barbarian were shot nearly a year apart from each other. Many, many additional layers of shadow, blood, light, and detail added. About 30 layers total in Photoshop.
